This work consisting of 400 drawings is based on a series I did as a child where I only drew Batmobiles for roughly a year. Being frustrated with my work ethic, I decided to once again dedicate 6 weeks of my life to this project drawing around 20 Batmobiles a day. Adding (mostly) positive affirmations, in the beginning only added to support myself mentally, adds a layer of tenderness & vulnerability to the images which stands in contrast to the stereotypical masculine & mysterious image of Batman.
